Second ODI suspended due to Covid case, coronavirus, positive test, news

The second ODI between Australia and the West Indies was suspended at the last minute on Friday morning due to a positive COVID-19 case.

News of a positive test came just moments away from the first ball after the toss had been completed and teams named.

A Cricket West Indies statement says the positive case belongs to a non-playing member of the West Indies team.

All players, staff and broadcasters in the tour’s bio-bubble will now be tested again and have gone into isolation at their team hotels.
