The Big Bash League’s most recent rookie of the year has moved clubs, signing a two-year deal with the Perth Scorchers.
Fox Cricket understands the Melbourne Renegades elected not to offer a deal to Peter Hatzoglou, who was their leading wicket-taker last summer.
The Scorchers pounced and believe the tall leg-spinner will slot straight into their best XI, replacing Fawad Ahmed who is without a contract.
