McCullum and Healy weigh in on Aussie cricket issues

With more cricket being played across multiple formats around the world, cricket experts believe there should therefore be more coaches.

SENZ Breakfast host and former NZ Cricket star Brendon McCullum says this morning:

“In this day and age with all the challenges, trying to afford the best coaches is difficult. Why wouldn’t you look at splitting coaching roles with past players used in coaching structures for sure?”

When touching on the recent troubles with Cricket Australia, Baz added:

“Shane Warne could take a T20 side, Ricky Ponting a test side, Adam Gilchrist could take a one day side.”

“The one sure thing to being a great coach is ultimately performace – that’s what you’re judged on. Coaches out there provide great environments but sometimes not the results.”
