Australian coach Justin Langer confronted negative player feedback “head on” during a two-day talk-fest on the Gold Coast recently and vowed to change his ways to better manage the new Covid-impacted world.
Reports of tension between Langer and some players surfaced after the Test series loss against India last summer which resulted in a review by leadership consultant Tim Ford
National limited overs captain Aaron Finch, now in the West Indies with Langer for a series of white ball games, said the issues were thrashed out when the Australian players gathered for a team camp before departure.
