Australian short-form captain Aaron Finch has addressed the reports of a huge rift in the dressing room between the players and Justin Langer – but stopped short of giving the coach his backing.
Reports of unrest during Langer’s tenure are well-documented, with stories alleging heated confrontations have taken place with players and other members of staff being continuously being leaked.
Former captain Adam Gilchrist has insisted the issues need to be sorted out or they could “derail the summer”, with an Ashes series on home turf against England on the horizon.
