Justin Langer has spoken for the first time on the leaked reports about his coaching style, insisting he will become a better coach for it after a series of frank heart-to-hearts with a number of players.
Langer has come under intense scrutiny following reports of discontent amongst the playing group and staff during the unsuccessful T20 tour of Bangladesh.
That led to an emergency meeting being called earlier this month between Cricket Australia CEO Nick Hockley, chairman Earl Eddings and the national team captains, Tim Paine and Aaron Finch and their vice-captain Pat Cummins to discuss the issues in the team environment managed by Langer.
He received a public backing from Hockley and held a number of one-on-one conversations with the players while in hotel quarantine in Adelaide to discuss the situation individually.
