Commonwealth Games 2022 HIGHLIGHTS, Day 1: Srihari Nataraj qualifies for 100m backstroke final; Anahat Singh shines on CWG debut

And that marks an end to India’s opening day at the Commonwealth Games 2022. No medals yet but there has been some progress for the country in hockey, badminton, table tennis, squash, boxing and of course, finalist in swimmer Srihari Nataraj and gymnast Yogeshwar Singh at the end of the day. Medals Tally

Australia is first currently with six golds and 14 medals in total, followed by New Zealand and England at two and three.

India is yet to open its account.

Srihari Nataraj finishes fourth in his semifinal with a timing of 54.55s. He qualifies to the FINAL as the seventh best across two semifinals.
