Cameron Smith is being credited with one of major golf’s great final rounds after his eight-under 64 saw him win The Open Championship by one shot on Monday.
Smith fired a whopping eight birdies — six of which were on the back nine — as the Australian’s putter ran hot at St Andrews.
In the end, Smith posted 20-under for the tournament which saw him outlast America’s Cameron Young at 19-under, and Rory McIlroy at 18-under.
