Bryson DeChambeau, why the hate is ruining his career, Covid stance, Brooksy taunts, reaction, latest

It’s been a big week for Bryson DeChambeau.

From copping a battering over his anti-Covid vaccination stance, to being accused by fellow pros of not calling “fore”, to snapping back at fans over “Brooksy” sledges and snubbing the media — the hate has seemingly reached fever pitch.

DeChambeau faded out of contention in the final round of the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, in the process encountering a number of hecklers taunting him with shouts of “Brooksy” — a reference to his ongoing feud with fellow US star Brooks Koepka.

At one point DeChambeau reportedly snapped back at a fan with “good one” and playing partner Harris English leapt to his defence post-round, admitting it seemed to be taking a legitimate toll.

“It’s not really fair for them to call him ‘Brooksy’ a lot,” English said.
