Chris Lynn will sensationally split with the Brisbane Heat after more than a decade with the BBL franchise.
The Heat confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that it would release the 32-year-old, who is the club’s all-time leading run-scorer and a championship player in BBL | 02.
Lynn was also the first male to play 100 games for the club and is the competiton’s all-time record-holder for the most sixes.

Rumours spread about Lynn’s exit from the club last BBL season when he stood down as club captain before the tournament.
Lynn struggled last season with 215 runs at 17.91 while the Heat won just three matches and finished seventh.
