The Los Angeles Lakers have won an overtime thriller over Dyson Daniels’ New Orleans Pelicans after the Australian rookie missed two crucial free throws.
Daniels went to the line with just 1.6 seconds left and needed to make just one free throw to put the game beyond the Lakers’ reach.
He missed both — and then madness ensued.

Down the other end, Matt Ryan received the ball from the in-bound pass and put up a prayer fadeaway from the corner that, incredibly, hit nothing but net to tie the scores on the buzer.
The Lakers went on to win in overtime 120-117, leaving Daniels with a brutal lesson to learn, and LA with just its second victory of the season.
