Los Angeles Clippers did not include Russell Westbrook in their closing rotation for their last game and will not be starting in their upcoming game against the Houston Rockets. Terance Mann will be in the starting lineup in place of Westbrook, marking his first start of the season. Westbrook, a nine-time All-Star, reportedly asked to come off the bench to help boost the second unit and allow the team to jell. He reportedly expressed his willingness to sacrifice for the good of the team, which is currently on a six-game losing streak. The addition of James Harden has not improved their performance, as five of the losses came after his addition. With the starting lineup of Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Harden, and Westbrook not meeting expectations, head coach Ty Lue is experimenting with different rotations.
