Patty Mills has signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets while a rising Aussie has landed his first NBA deal.
Mills has officially decided to leave the Spurs after 10 years in San Antonio, as first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Elsewhere, 2021 NBL Grand Final MVP Jock Landale has signed a two-year deal which will see him start his NBA career at San Antonio, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
The Aussie big man has been running around for the Boomers alongside Mills, playing a crucial supporting role on the offence.
Landale previously had a stint with the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Summer League where he put up 25 points and 15 rebounds in a standout game against Philadelphia.
Multiple NBA clubs were interested in him but at that point Landale had already signed with Lithuanian side Zalgiris Kaunas.
Now though he will join the Spurs as Mills moves…
