Golfing great has message for Greg Norman on women’s game

It takes a special sort of courage to visit Greg Norman’s home golf club and stand by your fears about the damage his pet project could do to the game.

But Australian women’s great Karrie Webb will not be silenced or swayed over her concerns about Norman’s LIV Golf project, no matter what the setting.

Webb, who won seven major titles, was honoured at Brisbane’s Royal Queensland Golf Club on Thursday at an Australian Sports Hall of Fame function where Webb and softball’s Tanya Harding were among nine inductees to the celebrated club.
