Dante Exum has been in and around the Australian basketball system for almost a decade but before Tokyo 2020, he had never worn the green and gold at the Olympics.
He did not need to though to understand what it all meant.
The 26-year old had been there before, in the locker room after the 2014 World Cup loss, left only with that hollow feeling that he could have done more.
