The NBA Global Academy is set to introduce the latest Australian to the program, with Joshua Dent joining in mid-September. The 6’2″ point guard is from Wollongong and debuted for NBA Global Academy at the Australia U20 Championships in May.
The rising talent is thrilled to be joining the program that has quickly built a reputation as a pathway to the professional ranks.
“I am thrilled with the opportunity to join such a prestigious program like the NBA Global Academy and cannot wait to arrive and further develop my basketball and life skills,” said Dent.
“This scholarship is a great privilege and I will work hard to make it worthwhile. I am looking forward to going up against the best every day and to receive mentorship from such great coaches.”
