Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray has been suspended for one game after “making inappropriate contact with and verbally abusing a game official”, the NBA confirmed on Tuesday morning AEST.
The 26-year-old appeared to make contact with an official as time expired in Atlanta’s 129-121 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series.
A visibly heated Murray appeared to lean into official Gediminas Petraitis while walking off the court, possibly shoving him in the process.
