Adam Scott says Greg Norman should have been invited to St Andrews this week as a past champion of The Open after he was snubbed from a celebration of previous winners.
Norman — who won the Claret Jug in 1986 and 1993 — was a noticeable absentee during the Celebration of Champions exhibition, which featured the likes of Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Lee Trevino.
As the chief of Saudi-backed breakaway LIV Golf, the Royal and Ancient didn’t extend the invitation to Norman.

Speaking to the Australian Golf Digest ahead of round one on Thursday, Scott sided with his compatriot.
“I tend to think yes (Norman should have been invited), is my first instinct,” Scott told the publication….
